Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at info@roofsandremodel.com with any questions that aren't listed here.

Great question! The whole process goes like this....

Before Your Job Begins:

  1. We finalize the details of your project and go into contract.
  2. We pull the building permit and set a start-date.
  3. We'll order materials and schedule delivery.

Project Start to Finish:

  1. Our crew will arrive on your start date to begin the prep work and tear-off .
  2. Materials will arrive and loaded onto the roof.
  3. We schedule the required checkpoint inspections with the building department.
  4. If needed, dry-rot or lumber repairs are performed to bring your roof up to building code standards.
  5. Our crew installs your new roofing system.
  6. We remove any remaining debris, clean and seal your gutters, and sweep with a magnet broom to catch any stray nails.
  7. We schedule the final inspection with the building department.

After Your Project:

  1. Your new roof looks wonderful and we register your Platinum Warranty with Owens Corning.
  2. Warranty paperwork arrives via email within 3-4 weeks from date of completion.
  3. You tell all your friends and family about your amazing experience with Roofs Roofs and Remodel, Inc.
  4. Your neighbors compliment your beautiful new roof.
  5. Random people give you a thumbs-up and you find $20 in an old coat pocket, maybe.

Yes we are! We maintain a million dollar policy for liability and worker's comp. A copy of our insurance is provided at every re-roof visit, and we're happy to forward a copy upon request.

We've got it handled. We work closely with all city and county building departments to pull the proper permits for your project. We schedule the required inspections and provide you with the completed permit card once your project is buttoned up. The building department uploads your permit records to the public record portals within a day or two a project completion.

No way. All of our roofers and carpenters are in-house employees, covered under our license and insurance. Some of our crew members have been with us since the very beginning. We're very lucky to have them.

We do occasionally utilize subcontractors on larger remodeling projects - skilled folks who are masters at their niche trade. All of our subcontractors carry their own license, are insured, and have been vetted for quality work and craftsmanship.

An average-sized roof only takes 3-4 days to replace from start to finish, max. Once we begin your project, we go full throttle until the project is complete - no breaks or downtime while your roof is open and exposed. Any extensive dry-rot repairs may add a little time to the project, but we work quickly and efficiently to get the job done on time.

Yes, but not in-house. We partnered with a company called Acorn Finance a few years ago to offer flexible financing solutions. Acorn Finance works exclusively on home improvement loans for homeowners using certified contractors. They'll generate a list of financial institutions offering various loan lengths and terms to best suit your budget. The loan is funded directly to you. We never see your credit information. Reach out any time for more details.

Not at all. Though, the process is a bit noisy which can be distracting if you work from home or have little ones on a nap schedule. We try to keep all noise to a minimum, but it's inevitable during a re-roof.
